whee. totally burnt out this past 3 days. pe, pe, sports heats. omg >.> i'm aching in places that i didn't previously know could ache. damn it

sports heats was meh. 8 x 50m was over too fast to notice much. in fact, us 6th runners were all chatting away and didnt know it has started till the race reached the 4th runners. imagine the panic. lols~
by some stroke of fortune (or misfortune) we ended up taking part in the 4 x 400m relay as well. seems fun, but really nerve wracking once it was time to go. i believe i have improved on my previous best 400m timing, mostly thanks to felicia's spikes (thanks again :D). run and run until no breath still run -.- burnt one person and let him overtake at the last 25m. i cant sustain max speed for too long =x. in any case, i have confidence in my own max speed. meh

and about the DJMax problem that i have, its temporarily solved :D major thanks to jessie for trusting me enough to lend me her laptop, even though we only recently became close friends >.> thanks so much T_T

long week -.- at least block test was over and done with.
lets see....

thursday went out with almost half the class for a food outing to suki sushi in amk.
original planned number of people was 3, ended up 7 people went. coool. xD

nice masterpiece created by henry sean and wingki~ they used the caps for 2 icecreams, a lemon slice, 2 wads of radish, and something unrecognizable as the nose ._.

went to topone ktv at bugis today with jessie n ping. 7 hours straight singing -.- new record hahahhas.
too bad i wasnt singing for the most bit, cos i dunno alot of songs ma =x
had lots of fun anyway. who knows when will be the next time we can have fun together without the exams and studies bugging us -.-

ok enough bout that. the main topic is here.
i finally bought the DJMax Trilogy. i was like woots!
check out the picture. the game even has a thumbdrive as a personal ID and memory drive to keep your DJ details and stats.
pentavision has outdone itself with this release of DJMax.

but problem is.... it is a dvd... (3 dvds infact)... and this "new" comp doesnt even have a dvd drive =.= ROARRRR. all i can do now is to look at the smexiness of the discs and think about when i can actually play it T_T

Went to school earlier because 西瓜 didn't do her chemistry and needed "reference", hence the 8am, for those who are wondering why i was in school 1 hour early.
Next, the horror began! the air-con wasn't working -.- stuffy, hot, deprived of oxygen, unable to think, yea that sums it up just nice. at least there wasn't anything that needed much attention...

went to KPT (the kopitiam's name. lol) to buy food with 4 of the guys, then 6 ppl joined in, then 2 more came along. machiam class outing sial. @.@ chicken liver is niicceeee

Physics was the real killer... on and on, almost non stop information barrage. for those who do not know physics, here's a picture.

honestly, the most torturing part of the afternoon was the "waiting for classmates to finish writing on the board". excruciating and agonizing does not fully justify the pain we went through. hahhas =x

most of the past week ended at this time, meaning that i go home even later... bleah
block test has started, and i swear that CLB block test was the greatest joke in history. almost no one took the exam seriously. we were laughing and joking, guys were throwing paper around, tying strings tgt to making fishing rods, me revising my chem (yea hail the mugger) ...


lolol, ethanal + [Ag(NH3)2]+ = silver mirror! so cool. took us a few tries before we finally realised what we did wrong. i mis understood "just dissolved ppt" as "just appearing ppt". *faints*

went to the uni open houses yesterday. was quite boring, but i learned something. never did i thought that NUS had a PhD program. 8 years straight planned out already, assuming i'll do well in uni. right now im considering to take 2 majors, but i cant decide on which. faculty of science NUS is for sure, but its not easy. physics and applied physics/astrophysics/chemistry/organic chemistry. lololol *kills self*

NUS 8 year PhD program. Cant see shit, but yea, that's my goal.

NTU campus. The exhibition for NTU is much better, not to mention the freebies. lol

mehhh design, but the inside is almost like a crumpler. wheee~ hahhas

bought a frisbee at running lab, velocity, novena for SDG$29.00, thanks to her spotting it for me =X finally a sturdy and standard disk to play with~ it flies like a dream... (only when henry/aung latt throws it. wooooshhh~


food bites~
Boon Lay's Eat24Hrs small shop has some beautifully expensive yet nice noodles. its super out of the way for me, but since i was there for the NTU open house, and i would most likely never pass by there again, i gave it a shot. worth every cent (430 cents btw)



also, tried this at swensen's. the mega burger is super worth the price of 13.90. look at how thick it is >.> *mouth waters all over again*

so, freaking, tired! but it was all worth it :D

i'll give the whole rundown on the events leading to and the event itself.

package collection in school. mr hamim gave us the paper bag containing all that we need and some goodies, which include.... this little carton of milo. aint it cute?

for those of you who never saw my mini phone before, this ain't a good comparison on how small it is, so heres a better comparison picture.

oh well, nothing much to say about the precedings.
lets fast forward to today.

woke up at 5:15 to get ready... messed around the kitchen for a self made breakfast (which smelled like crap, although taste is ok). rushed out of house for fear of being late, then 5mins down the road, i realised i forgot my shoes. like wtf? the most important thing -.-
went back home to get it, took a cab to HG station, took train to harbour front. met warren and siyi at vivo. joked around until the stupid skytrain started running. they open the skytrain service only at 7, so why the hell did the event organiser want us to register BY 7:30? nonsense -.-
then it started raining HEAVILY halfway to sentosa on the train. what luck. lol. at least it cleared up by 8:30, making the event postpone for 1hour.
insane queue for the bikes, met many innovians while queuing, talked alot of crap.

here's team tri innova individual category people~ (some of us anyway)

left to right, me n warren, qimin, pei qi and felicia.

the whole thing started at around 9:40. the water was freeeeezing, and i immediately felt how out of touch with swimming i was. regardless, i pushed on, losing track of the 3 girls. (warren was in the 1st batch, we were in 2nd batch. they had to release us 30 people at a time to prevent people killing each other accidentally in the water)
felicia ran on with her bike without us, so i didnt wait for the other 2 girls. biking was my forte, but i didnt put in much effort, knowing that my worst category, the run, was right after the biking. did interval sprinting, burning people occasionally (ironically, i drenched them instead of burn. floor was still wet and slick).
then came the run =.= i walked for abit, resting my legs, then qi min and pei qi catched up. i ran with them for about 600m, but i can't take it ._. pei qi shot forward, then qi min maintained her own pace, leaving me slowly walking around >.> walked alot, having the delusion that there was still 1 of them behind me. when pei qi burned past me on her last lap, then i woke up. ._. started running normally after that, and finished @.@

300m swim
10km bike
3km run
overall time 1:10-1:15, not sure, as there was no timing, and the start time was unknown to us.

alot of people cheated >.> the bike stint was 3 laps of 3.3km, from tanjong beach to beach station and back counting as one lap. many people did just two or even only ONE lap, then went in and went for their run. same thing for the running. 3 laps of 1km each, so some people only did 2 laps or less. well, normally i would care, but since this is non competitive, bleah. who cares if they have no integrity. lol.

just for a comparison again, this is the milo they gave us for completing the run. maybe its for making up for the small carton they gave us? XD

What an eventful day it is today.
Before i stepped into school, already got someone who wanted to give me something for valentine's (thanks mei x33 huggs)
total net gain, 5 sweets, 7 chocs, 1 mamee O.o bleah

supposedly, following the jap mangas, guys are obliged to return gifts to the girls who gave chocs to them during valentine's day on white day (14march). i don't know how much of this is true, but i'll give them something back on monday ^^

as a matter of fact, i gave all the girls in my class 1 piece of Guylian choc alr (Belgium choc, it looks so so nice!)

well, this marks the end of week 3 of our year. next monday, the new JC1s will be crowding up the school. i am jealous of them, as orientation is fun =/ i bet alot of the new intake people will be appealing out of IJC though. well, if you got <14 points, and u got into a 20 point JC, what else would you want to do? lol.

still coping well with the workload currently. i still can't do mcclaurin's and integration for nuts. superposition and waves are alright alright, organic chem is great, and geog is just.. =.=

we finally got to see our official GP teacher today. she's funny, and her pregnancy was sure an eventful one (doctor's agenda was the killer). hope she will be a great teacher, and a great help to come.

its unbelievably absurd to conduct lessons on the day that is supposedly named as our CNY celebration day. no one even has the energy to do anything. the general mood in the hall was dead (except for some crazy girls at the back). whats the point of forcing us to sit through something so horrible, most of us (if not all) would rather be sleeping at home. so what if it's A lvl year? apparently along with age comes wisdom and intelligence, but also you lose all sense of common sense (i do not expect you to be able to infer or even understand this statement. who cares)

the only thing i deem as semi enjoyable was the hamper making in the class room? class bonding is always fun, added in with the fact that we were almost unsupervised for the hour. music on the speakers, woot~

hall performance, talk by principal, talk by vice principal, CO solo performance (cant blame them, they have less than 5 members), and some lion dance. the lion was apparently trying to pick up and throw some oranges on the floor of the stage (which no one could see). i was almost asleep when the lion suddenly spat out 3 oranges at max speed, of which 1 was heading for my head. thank goodness, somehow my reflexes were still functioning. slapped one outta the way just as it reached within 15cm of my face. -.- at least those years spent as a goalie worked out fine. hahahs.

stayed back to study, with a english and chinese oriented person today. very stress LOL. keep having to change the language channel in my brain @.@
